The hard and fast Carawirry Booking Terms
We encourage you to let your hair down, disrupt normality, and break the rules of your usual every day. But some rules weren’t made to be broken. Check these out, and please follow them closely (it’s basically all we ask during your whole stay).
Smoking outdoors
If you want to smoke outside, away from doorways and windows is fine by us as long as you put the butt in the bin. It's just nasty finding them on the ground. And remember, sparks and embers, especially during the dryer months - A single flame can start trouble easily here in the forest.
Humans only
You’ll soon notice that Carawirry is brimming with wildlife. Please don’t have animals on the property at any time during your stay. Don’t worry; resident wallaby Skip will cure any furry friend withdrawals.
Be drain aware
Toilet paper should be the only thing going down the toilet (well, that and the other stuff). The last thing you want is a drain issue in the forest. We’ve been there, and it’s not pretty.
It’s cool to be kind
Please respect all other guests on the property and avoid wandering into others’ areas. Please limit noise to a minimum between 9 p.m. and 9 a.m. Nature’s soundtrack is a cracker out here.
CANCELLATION POLICY
The following cancellation Policy is valid for all booked rates EXCEPT Lock it in Eddy. Non-refundable rate.
You can cancel for free up to 30 days before your arrival date, no questions asked.
If cancelling within 29 -15 days of your arrival, you have two options:
1. Postpone** your stay to dates within the next 6 months of your currently booked arrival date, and the full deposit amount, minus a $50 fee, will be transferred to your newly booked dates.*.
2. Or cancel your stay and forfeit your deposit payment.
No cancellations, refunds, credits, transfers, or changes of stay dates are permitted within 14 days of your arrival.
*Please take note that any credit with Carawirry is only redeemable for its monetary value and does not guarantee the same booking for future dates at the original price. Your credit is specific to a dollar amount and can be applied to a future stay.
**No refund will be provided for postponed stays on the newly booked date. Bookings can only be postponed once.
Cancellation Policy for Lock it in Eddy. Non-refundable rate
This rate is 100% Non-refundable, Non-transferrable, and Non-changeable under any circumstances.
Payment is required in full at the time of booking.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By booking your stay at Carawirry Forest Escape, you accept the following Terms and Conditions:
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT TIMES
Your check-in time is from 3 pm. Check-out is by 10 am. [Check out is 2 pm for Lazy Weekend Rate]
Pls be punctual with your check-out, and pls don't arrive before your scheduled arrival time unless prearranged with us.
A later check-in, after 3pm, is no trouble as Carawirry operates via self-check-in.
Late check-out without prior arrangement with management will incur a fee of $35 for each 15 minutes the guest remains in the cabin after the check-out time of 10 a.m.
SAFETY WARNING
All cabins have open fires outside and fireplaces inside. They are to be operated at the user’s responsibility and require Adult supervision at all times.
All cabins have deep indoor and/or outdoor baths, they are to be operated at user’s responsibility and require Adult supervision at all times.
Much time and care has gone into creating these spaces for you to enjoy. Please be respectful.
NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS
All accommodation must be used only for private hire to accommodate the number of guests stated on your booking confirmation. No functions or parties may be conducted at the property without management consent. Refer to management for specific Event package's Terms and Conditions.
Exceeding the stated number of guests without informing management and gaining approval before arrival will result in additional charges for the additional guests.
NOISE
Please be respectful to other guests on the property and our neighbours at all times and keep noise to a minimum so everyone can enjoy their stay. We have a property-wide noise curfew from 9 pm to 9 am. You'd be surprised how far noise travels in the forest. Keep the good times rolling, but please turn off the loud music by 9 pm.
CLEANING
Professional cleaning will be carried out before and after your stay, and a cabin inventory of items will be performed. If a cabin is found to be left in an unreasonable state at check-out, excess cleaning charges may be involved. This will be determined on a case-to-case basis, and a member of our team will contact the guest to discuss and advise of the excess cleaning. Please leave the property in a neat state by following the departure checklist found in the cabin upon arrival.
VISITORS
Guests and visitors shall not park vehicles on the premises except in specific designated areas. No vehicle is to drive or park on any grassed areas. Please drive only on the gravel road and parking areas. The booked guests are responsible for the behaviour and actions of their visitors whilst on the premises. Children are welcome but are the responsibility of parents or carers.
PETS
Unfortunately, we can not accommodate pets on the property. If you are found to have brought a pet onto the property, you will be required to vacate the premises immediately with no further notice or refund.
DAMAGE
Whilst in occupation, you are fully responsible for all breakages and damage caused to the property, furniture, and fittings or any consequent loss suffered by Carawirry Forest Escape. Any such breakages, damage, or loss must be reported immediately and paid for prior to departure.
RIGHT TO REFUSE OR REVOKE BOOKINGS
The Booking Agent and the Owner reserve the right to revoke or refuse to honour any property accommodation booking which may in the opinion of either party (and at their sole discretion) be unsuitable for the Property concerned.
BOOKING CONFIRMATION
Once a Guest’s booking has been confirmed, the Guest is responsible for paying the total price for the rental period and all extras (if any) as shown on the confirmation notice on or before the date or dates referred to in such notice.
