Sleep in, then wake up slow with breakfast ready and waiting in your cabin. This hamper’s made just for two—featuring slow-smoked bacon, farm-fresh eggs, a crusty sourdough loaf, vine-ripened tomatoes, and gourmet Hunter Valley sausages.

You’ll also find 1L of full cream milk, 1L of orange juice, toasted muesli, thick yoghurt, a golden square of halloumi, a knob of proper butter (because butter = life), and a handful of coffee pods to get you going.

We’ll toss in some fresh fruit and, if the season’s right, a locally grown avocado or two.

Flying in? Newcastle Airport is the closest airport, just 1.5 hours away. From there, you can hire a car or book a private transfer to Carawirry.

Conditions of Booking – Keeping Carawirry Wild & Wonderful

We keep things relaxed and easy at Carawirry, but there are a few simple house rules to help protect the land, wildlife, and experience for everyone.

Smoking Outdoors

✔ If you smoke, please do so outside, away from doorways and windows.
✔ Butts in the bin, not on the ground—no one wants to find those lying around.
✔ Fire safety is serious business—especially in dry months. A single ember can spark real trouble in the bush.

Humans Only

Carawirry is brimming with wildlife, and we’d love to keep it that way. Please don’t bring pets—even the well-behaved ones.

 Don’t worry, resident wallaby Skip will cure any furry friend withdrawals.

Be Drain Aware

The only thing that should go down the toilet is toilet paper (well, and the other obvious stuff).

A blocked drain in the middle of the forest? Trust us—you don’t want that.

 It’s Cool to Be Kind

Respect your fellow guests—Carawirry is a place to switch off and slow down.
Keep noise to a minimum between 9 PM and 9 AM—nature’s soundtrack is already a cracker.
Stick to your space—please don’t wander into other guests’ areas.

Cancellation Policy – Life Happens, We Get It

We know that sometimes, plans change. Here’s how our cancellation policy works for all bookings—so you know exactly where you stand.

Cancel for free up to 30 days before arrival—no questions asked.

Cancelling within 30–15 days of arrival? You have two options:
1.Postpone your stay to a new date within the next 6 months, and we’ll transfer your full deposit, minus a $50 rebooking fee.
2. Cancel outright and forfeit your deposit payment.

No cancellations, refunds, credits, transfers, or changes are permitted within 14 days of arrival.

Any credit received is for its monetary value and does not guarantee the same dates or rate. Your credit is valid for one postponement only, and no refunds will be issued for the rescheduled stay.

This 100% non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-changeable rate is for those who love a good deal and are locked in, no matter what.

Full payment is required at the time of booking.
No refunds, date changes, or transfers—under any circumstances.
